BREAKING NEWS: Theatre Company to Perform Shakespeare

According to a press release picked up by broadwayworld.com and literally no other publication, a theatre company somewhere will apparently be mounting a production of a play by none other than long-time, long-time-dead playwright William Shakespeare.

The production, directed by someone named either Thomas or Aaron, will feature an extraordinary amount of dictation from non-equity actors looking to emote truth and find representation. The more than four-hundred-year-old play was allegedly selected for its creatively modern storytelling, relevant plot, and distinct lack of royalties.

Alluding to the fact that the play will take place in both an a-typical time and setting, one company member was quoted saying, “This one will be different. I swear. We cast an actor of color.”
